When you apply for a job at Be-ahead, we process your personal information in connection with the recruitment process. We recommend that your application does not contain your CPR number or sensitive personal information, such as information revealing racial or ethnic background, religion, trade union membership, sexuality, or health information.

Be-ahead processes your personal information on one or more of the following legal bases:

This includes the information you provide in your CV, application, and any attachments, relevant information publicly available on the internet and social media, results of personality tests, references from reference persons you have provided in your application, and other information you provide during the recruitment process. • Consent: If we wish to obtain references from previous and/or current employers whom you have not listed as references in your application, we will only do so if we have obtained your consent (databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1, litra a).
  If we need to review your criminal record as part of our assessment, we will request your consent (databeskyttelseslovens § 8, stk. 3).
  If the position you have applied for exceptionally has specific requirements related to health conditions, we will, after a specific assessment, request your explicit consent before processing such personal information (databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 9, stk. 2, litra a og artikel 6, stk. 1, litra a).

Retention Period

If you are offered a position at Be-ahead, your application and additional relevant personal information collected during the hiring process will be stored in your personnel file with us.

If you are not offered a position, we will retain your application and any additional personal information collected during the hiring process for a period of 12 months after our rejection, unless you have given your consent for longer storage of such personal information.

You may revoke any consents you have given as part of our hiring process at any time. Revoking your consent will affect the future processing of your personal information but will not affect the legality of the processing based on your consent before the revocation. Criminal records will be deleted immediately after our review.

• Advertising and customization of activities on the platform.

Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of your personal information is based on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests: Be-ahead bases the processing of your personal information on our legitimate interests in being able to communicate with and market to you on our profiles on social media, as well as our legitimate interest in improving our products and services (databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1, litra f). The providers of social media base the processing of your personal information on their legitimate interests, including their interest in improving their advertising system and providing statistics to Be-ahead, which the social media provider compiles based on your visit to Be-ahead’s profile or page on the social media platform. Additionally, the providers of social media have a legitimate interest in providing an innovative, individually tailored, secure, and profitable service (databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1, litra f).
• Consent: The providers of social media process certain of your personal information in accordance with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through your privacy settings on the social media platform (databeskyttelsesforordningens artikel 6, stk. 1, litra a).

Who Do Social Media Providers Share Your Personal Information With?

Social media providers may, among other things, share your personal information with the following categories of recipients:

5. Disclosure to Other Data Controllers and Assignment to Data Processors

To fulfill the purposes described above, we may grant third parties access to your personal information, who, based on a contractual relationship with Be-ahead, provide relevant services. Such service providers will only process personal information in accordance with our instructions as per the data processing agreements in place.
